About Us
Pilar holds a masters in Psychology and is a Certified Professional Life Coach. She loves working with mothers and couples. She was a full-time mom dedicated to raising her children and the care of the home. Family topics and the education of children are her passion.
Guido had an extensive career in the world of investments and co-founded a Private Equity firm that backed and grew successful mid-sized businesses. Despite the demands of his profession, Guido dedicated significant time to learning about his most important job: being a father. Following Pilar’s lead, he took many courses and read many books on all aspects of parenting, eventually shifting into teaching and guiding others through the rough waters of parenting in the XXI century.
Pilar and Guido were the Directors of Texas Family Enrichment from 2015 to 2022, a not-for-profit organization that organizes parenting courses using the case study method. They were both moderators for TFE and facilitated cases in different cities. They are also the founders of Family Summer, a vacation for families in Beaver Creek, Colorado . Family Summer combines parenting workshops, leisure, and outdoor adventures.
Pilar and Guido married in 1995 and have 6 children, ages 29 through 17. The oldest four are done with college and economically independent. Most importantly, each one of their children practices their faith.
Originally from Argentina, they have made Houston their home since 1996.

What is Couple 2 Couple Mentoring?
Couple 2 Couple
is an initiative started by Pilar & Guido Caranti to help young parents raise their kids with confidence and intentionality.
When Pilar and Guido got married 30 years ago, they embarked on a journey of learning and growth. They were determined to be the best parents they could be. Soon after their marriage, they moved to Texas to study and work. Pilar immersed herself in parenting books sharing her insights with Guido. Together, they took several parenting courses and became involved in Family Enrichment as both participants and moderators.
Raising a family in a foreign country, far from their own families, was challenging. However, they always had the support and mentorship of family members, which helped them raise their six children. They understand the difficulties and challenges of parenting in today's world and believe that raising happy and mature kids requires more than improvisation. It requires guidance and support.
This is why Pilar and Guido are passionate about sharing their knowledge and experiences with others. They want to accompany you on this wonderful adventure of parenting. They will meet with you to discuss important parenting concepts and explore various areas they consider essential for stress-free parenting. While their approach is not the only way to achieve the goal of raising happy and mature kids, it has worked for them. They will listen to your struggles and areas where you seek improvement, recognizing that both parents play a crucial role in their children's education, each bringing unique perspectives and talents.

Format
- We will have between 6-8 one-hour meetings. After that, we can meet as needed to discuss specific problems, situations, concerns, etc.
- During the meetings we will cover the Big Ideas in Parenting and go over the areas that we consider important in the education of our children.
- After each meeting we will share with parents a talk by Pilar about the topic that will be discussed in the following meeting, some action plans and worksheets to put into practice what we have discussed.
- Next meeting date will be determined beforehand, and the mentee couple will watch the talk before the meeting.
- We will be able to discuss the parents’ specific parenting concerns or questions during the meetings.
COST:
We do not want to discourage couples from signing up for economic reasons.
Fees will be discussed on a case by case basis depending on the needs of each couple.
